Concrete Care and Maintenance:

For daily care, use a damp cloth: dry immediately or use Golden Care Multi Surface Outdoor Furniture Cleaner 2 for a more thorough cleaning. Do not use acidic cleaning products as it can damage the surface of the product. We recommend to seal the table surface periodically, every 3 to 6 months depending on use, with Golden Care Natural Stone & Composite Stones Protector. Adhering to the following advice will also help maintain the longevity of your concrete product:

• Clean up spills as soon as possible.
• Use coasters or placemats to help prevent marks or stains.
• Do not cut directly on concrete top to avoid damaging the sealer.
• Always use a cutting board when preparing food.
• Avoid placing hot pans on the concrete top. Concrete is heat resistant, but excessive heat can damage or discolour the sealer.
• Concrete tabletops are sealed with a clear, water-based acrylic coating. Resealing becomes necessary when the surface sheen develops large variations.

Caring for Glass

Glass used goes through a tempering process which greatly increases its strength. This is commonly known as toughened glass. Although toughened, it is important to remember that glass is not unbreakable. To clean glass:

  • wash down regularly with mild soapy water or commercially available glass cleaner.
  • Do not clean hot glass or place hot or cold items directly on the surface.
  • Sudden changes in temperature can cause glass to break.
  • Be careful not to strike glass or place any heavy weight directly on the glass.
  • Rough handling can cause microscopic damage to the table causing it to shatter at a later time.
  • Do not drag the table from one end under any circumstances.
  • Do not leave umbrellas open through table glass when the table is not in use.
  • Umbrellas should always be secured in a solid base to avoid glass / table damage.
  • Glass breakage is not covered by the warranty.

Cushions and Slings Maintenance:

Different fabric types require different cleaning methods – please ask the sales person which fabric you have purchased so you can clean it appropriately.

  • Never store cushions while wet.
  • We recommend that all cushions/sling chairs are covered with a furniture cover or stored inside to extend their life.
  • Warranty specifically excludes stains, mildew, fading and stretching of fabric and flattening of cushions.
